Looking for Marilyn

Looking for Marilyn was inspired by Andy Warhol’s large Marilyn Monroe HSP (hand screen prints). A heru comb that belongs to the British Museum, Maori culCHUR (culture) and POP art.

This print attracts and detracts at the same time, it has both light and dark, this was my main focus to present an eye catching visual display that made the viewer either comfortable or uncomfortable, or both at the same time.

I believe we are all personally looking for our own Marilyn, in what ever way that may be.
